TGS and Schlumberger announced a new 3D seismic multi-client survey in the Red Sea, Egypt. This area regulatory is south valley Egyptian petroleum holding company (Ganope) This project will encompass approximately 6800 Square kilometers and will be acquired with long offsets and processed using a prestack depth migration (PSDM) workflow to enable subsalt imaging ahead of the anticipated license round. Final deliverables are expected in Q4 2022. Unexplored offshore Egyptian Red sea area presents great opportunities to explore large untested structures in close proximity to proven hydrocarbon systems offering exceptional growth opportunities for oil companies.
