WHO WE ARE ?

AAPG Cairo University Student Chapter is the biggest Team of Volunteering Geo-scientists in Cairo University, which is supervising by: Prof. Ahmed Neiazy EL-Barkooky; The professor of Reservoir Characterization, Geology Department, Faculty of science. We are doing our best efforts to be committed on our promises by providing technical and non-technical knowledge for Geoscience Students via technical sessions, non-technical sessions; development workshops, software programming courses, volunteering projects and field trips. AAPG Cairo Slogan: Over the Top Because we dare to make a successful Geo-scientists and leaders in the O&G industry and don’t take the top end of their trip but flying over it.

Mission

To collect, disseminate, and exchange technical knowledge concerning the exploration, development and production of oil and gas resources, cement and mining industry related technologies for the public benefit; and to provide opportunities for young professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence
